Washington Huskies (+102) vs. Oregon State Beavers (-122)
Surprisingly, the undefeated Huskies come into this one as a narrow underdog. Granted, this is one of the West Coast’s classic college football rivalries but it seems like the Huskies are undervalued here.
The Beavers do have a commanding home field advantage, going 16-1 against the spread since the 2021 season.
Both teams have a potential shot at the College Football Playoff but a win will secure one team’s chances while likely sending the other to a bowl game. UW will need a win here and a conference championship to get back the CFP.
OSU, meanwhile, are coming off a huge win against the Oregon Ducks last week and have a shot at the conference championship if they win here and Arizona takes the L.
The Huskies’ running back Dillon Johnson and Michael Penix Jr. have become a dynamic duo for Washington’s offense. The Huskies will need solid performances from both to secure a victory here.
That said, the Beavers have an impressive rushing attack and the UW defense has been sub-par in the redzone, especially when defending against the run.
There’s a strong chance that it will be raining and a little windy around kick off time, which means that Washington’s passing attack will be hampered a bit.
Overall, the Beavers are one and a half point favorites with the O/U 62.5. A totals wager is not worth it here but look at OSU on the moneyline. They’ll have a commanding home field advantage and will be helped out a bit by the weather.
