Dave Portnoy gives out his favorite bet for Ravens-Texans

Dave Portnoy is expecting a high-scoring game during Saturday’s early NFL action.
“Double your money in 3 hours tomorrow,” Portnoy wrote on X. “Texans vs Ravens over 43.5 [points]. #DDTG.”
The Barstool Sports founder is so confident in the wager that he had to tease it about a half-hour before announcing his gamble.
“I HAVE ANOTHER 4 BAGGER RELEASE!!’ 2:15 pm. #ddtg,” he wrote on X.
Portnoy is having quite the month with his betting luck.
After coming out of his gambling retirement in December, Portnoy put $1 million on Michigan to defeat Alabama in the College Football Playoff semifinal, which rang true on New Year’s Day.
Portnoy won another half-million dollars when the Washington Huskies upset the Texas Longhorns to make the College Football Playoff national championship game.
The Texans-Ravens AFC divisional total opened at 46 points but has been bet down to 43.5 as of Friday evening.
Betting on the NFL?
A majority of the money (63 percent) is on the Over, but a majority of the tickets (62 percent) are on Under 43.5 points, according to Action Network.
The AFC-front-runner Ravens are a 9.5-point favorite over the Texans, although Houston is getting a ton of love from public bettors.
As of Thursday evening, the Texans were garnering 62 percent of both bets and the handle against the spread, per Action Network, which is easily the most popular side for this weekend’s divisional round slate.
