Crews battle fireplace at large, under-construction Las Vegas strip lodge

Hearth crews have been battling a blaze on the soon-to-be open Fontainebleau Las Vegas lodge and on line casino late Saturday afternoon.
Thick plumes of black smoke may very well be seen billowing from the roof of the towering 67-story blue glass property, aerial footage from FOX5 helicopters confirmed.
It wasn’t instantly clear what sparked the fireplace or the extent any potential injury on the under-construction property.

The property is scheduled to open its doorways in December after sitting dormant on the north finish of the Las Vegas strip for near twenty years.
Building on the Fontainebleau Las Vegas started again in 2007 and had initially been slated to open in late 2009.
