Oops…she did it again…or did she?
Britney Spears was pulled over and ticketed in California last month for driving without a license or proof of insurance in her car, according to The Blast.
However, a source disputed this claim, telling The Post, “Britney at all times obviously had a license and insurance; the ticket is the functional equivalent of a parking ticket and is old news,” they said of alleged incident that happened on Sept. 10.
“It is surprising and disappointing it is even a ‘story,’ especially given what is occurring in Israel and throughout the world at the moment,” they added.
The Blast claims that police documents state Spears was driving without a valid license in her possession and was cited for a “failure to provide a peace officer evidence of financial responsibility.”
The Post has also contacted reps for Spears for comment.
The outlet also claimed that the “Toxic” singer was cited for a $1,140 fine by California Highway Patrol and must pay up by Oct. 24, which is also the date of her court appearance.
However, a source tells The Post there is no court date scheduled for this incident.
The Post has also contacted the California Highway Patrol for comment.
Oct. 24 is also the day Spears’ long-awaited memoir “The Woman In Me” is set to be released.
The recently-divorced Spears sparked public concern when she shared a video of herself dancing with knives to Instagram.
She later claimed she attempting to emulate Shakira’s 2023 MTV VMA Video Vanguard Award performance.
