He’s buzzing about it.
Amid Billy Baldwin’s feud with Sharon Stone, the actor was spotted having what appeared to be an intense discussion with his wife, Chynna Phillips.
The “Basic Instinct” actress, 66, publicly tussled with Baldwin, 61, after Stone revealed on Louis Theroux’s podcast that producer Robert Evans told her to have sex with Baldwin during filming of their 1993 movie “Sliver” to improve his lousy screen performance.
“He called me to his office,” Stone recalled about Evans, who died in 2019 at age 89.
“He had these very low ’70s, ’80s couches, so I’m essentially sitting on the floor, when I should have been on set. And he’s running around his office in sunglasses explaining to me that he slept with Ava Gardner and I should sleep with Billy Baldwin, because if I slept with Billy Baldwin, Billy Baldwin’s performance would get better.”
In the movie, Stone played a model-escort and Baldwin played a video game designer named Zeke. The two were neighbors in a New York apartment building, and began sleeping together.
“Then they started to try to blame me for their mistakes, and they made terrible mistakes in the way that they hired directors and cast,” Stone alleged of the film directed by Phillip Noyce.
“If I could sleep with Billy then we’d have chemistry on-screen, and if I would just have sex with him then that would save the movie, and the real problem with the movie was me because I was so uptight, and so not like a real actress who could just f – – k him and get things back on track. The real problem was I was such a tight ass.”
The Oscar nominee concluded: “Now all of a sudden I’m in the I-have-to-f – – k-people business.”
This is the first time that Stone has mentioned names in connection to the incident, but she first talked about it in her 2021 memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice.”
Following Stone’s revelation, an angry Baldwin, who married Phillips in 1995, lashed out on X (formerly Twitter).
“Not sure why Sharon Stone keep [sic] talking about me all these years later,” Baldwin, brother to Alec Baldwin and uncle to Hailey Bieber, wrote.
“Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances?”
“I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I’ve kept quiet,” he added. “Wonder if I should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, kinky and unprofessional tales about Sharon?”
His tirade, however, continued to only ramp up.
“The story of the meeting I had with Bob Evans imploring him to allow me to choreograph the final sex scene in the photo below so I wouldn’t have to kiss Sharon is absolute legend,” he went on.
“Did she say to her gal pal Janice Dickinson the day after I screen tested and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York … ‘I’m gonna make him fall so hard for me, it’s gonna make his head spin.’”
Phillips, meanwhile, took to Instagram Tuesday to share a vague message.
“If you were a hundred times worse than you are, your sins would be no match for his mercy,” the quote by the late pastor Tim Keller read.
Stone, for her part, stepped out on the red carpet at the GLAAD media awards in Los Angeles on Thursday night, looking glam in a billowing satin blouse – and seemed unfazed about the drama.
She was in attendance to present actress Niecy Nash with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, which is given to “a LGBTQ media professional who has made a significant difference in raising visibility and promoting acceptance of LGBTQ people and issues,” per the GLAAD website.
Earlier in the day Stone and Baldwin’s squabble was even brought up during “The View,” in which the hosts slammed Stone.
“People crave relevancy and that threat that he made, ‘I’m gonna bring out all this dirt about Sharon,’ she must’ve been like, ‘Yeah, bring it out, because I haven’t been in the public eye for awhile, so here it goes!’” Joy Behar said on Thursday’s episode.
“Ego problems with actors? What a concept!” she teased.
“Sharon, are you still upset 30 years later?” Sunny Hostin asked.
