Within the newest improvement in what has been some of the transformative weeks within the historical past of school sports activities, Arizona, Arizona State and Utah are leaving the Pac-12 to turn out to be the latest members of the Massive 12 and can be a part of the convention in 2024, the Massive 12 introduced Friday evening.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Arizona, Arizona State and Utah to the Massive 12,” commissioner Brett Yormark said in a statement. “The convention is gaining three premier establishments each academically and athletically, and the whole Massive 12 appears ahead to working alongside their presidents, athletic administrators, student-athletes and directors.”

With six present members set to go away for the Massive 12 and Massive Ten, the Pac-12 is out of the blue on the verge of extinction. The Wildcats, Solar Devils and Utes are following Colorado to the Massive 12. The Buffaloes decided to rejoin the conference final week and Washington and Oregon announced their moves to the Big Ten earlier Friday night.
