Active shooter reported at Iowa high school

Police swarmed an Iowa high school early Thursday amid reports of an active shooter.
Multiple law enforcement agencies rushed to Perry High School, about 25 miles from Des Moines, at about 9 a.m., WHO13 reported.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed there is an active shooter probe, but offered no further details.
Multiple ambulances have already been seen entering and leaving the school grounds, according to the outlet.
It wasn’t immediately clear if there are any casualties.
The streets surrounding the school remain blocked off.
The incident was reported on the first day back for students following the winter break.
