Boston suspect arrested for allegedly stealing automobile with toddler inside
A Massachusetts suspect has been arrested for allegedly stealing a pickup truck with a toddler inside this month.
Boston resident Cristofanes Mendes, 33, was charged with assault by way of a harmful weapon and larceny of a motorcar on Monday morning. He was arrested with out incident.
The Boston Police Division reported that they positioned Mendes in the South Finish of Boston at round 10:30 a.m. on Monday.
The suspect was within the neighborhood of Massachusetts Avenue and Chesterton Road in Roxbury.
The pickup truck theft occurred on July 14 in Dorchester.
A household instructed police that they pulled over close to Geneva Avenue to maintain their 2-year-old baby, however the suspect jumped into their automobile and sped down the street.
The suspect finally got here again and dropped off the kid, who was sitting within the automobile seat.
