According to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, Olivia was hit by a propeller and died from her accidents after her boat — which was touring in South Carolina’s Intracoastal Waterway — “was rocked by a big wake attributable to one other boat, leading to 9 of the 12 occupants going overboard.”

The U.S. Coast Guard is now taking on the investigation into the accident, ABC 4 in South Carolina reported Friday.
