US State Dept Has Not Had Substantive Communication With North Korea Since US Soldier Crossed Border

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. State Division has not had any substantive communication with North Korea since U.S. soldier Travis King crossed into the North final week, State Division spokesperson Matthew Miller informed reporters on Monday.
Miller stated Washington has made outreach to establish the whereabouts of King and to establish details about his security, however haven’t acquired any response.
King, a U.S. Military personal serving in South Korea, sprinted into North Korea on July 18 whereas on a tour of the Demilitarized Zone on the inter-Korean border.
