Tennessee canine rescued from cave after falling over 50 toes

A Tennessee dog was rescued Monday evening after falling over 50 toes right into a cave, officers stated.

Shaker, a hound, fell between 50 and 75 toes after smelling a raccoon and chasing the animal in a wooded space close to the city of Bean Station, dog owner Jacob Reed instructed WVLT-TV. 

Reed stated that Shaker couldn’t transfer after the autumn.

The Bean Station Volunteer Fireplace Division stated its volunteer members responded at round 10:30 p.m. and started working to succeed in the hound.

Utilizing bushes as anchors, a rescuer rappelled into the cave to succeed in Shaker and ultimately introduced the dog to safety.

Officers in Bean Station, positioned in japanese Tennessee about 47 miles northeast of Knoxville, stated the canine was delivered to security and didn’t undergo any accidents within the fall. 

Reed instructed the station that the rescuers seemingly saved Shaker’s life and that the hound was doing well at home.

“We received him residence, gave him some water, and fed him, and he was pouncing round like nothing even occurred,” Reed stated. “Put him on a treadmill and ensuring every little thing was working good and he was pretty much as good as he was earlier than we left.”
