Chipmaker Arm to Make Its Personal Semiconductor – FT


(Reuters) – British chipmaker Arm Ltd is constructing its personal semiconductor to showcase the capabilities of its merchandise, because it seeks to draw new prospects and gas development following its Preliminary Public Providing (IPO) later this yr, the Monetary Instances reported on Sunday.

Arm will group up with manufacturing companions to develop the brand new semiconductor, FT mentioned, citing folks briefed on the transfer, including that the corporate has constructed a brand new “options engineering” group that can lead the event of those prototype chips for cellular gadgets, laptops and different electronics.
