Mob randomly assaults couple strolling in Chicago: They mentioned they had been ‘going to kill us’
A pair says they had been randomly attacked by a mob whereas strolling in downtown Chicago amid the “Teen Takeover” that was a violent rampage over the weekend.
“Ashley” and “DJ” instructed “America Reviews” on Tuesday that they’d been in search of a spot to get meals Saturday night time after they discovered themselves attempting to navigate a big crowd.
Folks within the crowd pushed the couple, and when DJ stood as much as them, preventing broke out.
“As quickly as they pushed me, I instructed DJ,” Ashley mentioned. “I mentioned, ‘Hey, they simply shoved me.’ And he requested them, he was like, ‘Yo, don’t shove her. Who shoved her?’ And as quickly as he mentioned that, all the pieces went loopy. … They mentioned they had been going to kill us.”
The mob pushed Ashley to the bottom and instantly turned on DJ to beat him.
They robbed the couple, stealing their sneakers, telephones, a pair of glasses, an Apple Watch and a hat.
Video of the assault through the violent teen takeover of town went viral.
“Everybody went for him, and it ended up in the midst of the road,” Ashley mentioned. “They had been leaping him in the midst of the road. It received fairly unhealthy.”
DJ, who’s affected by accidents to his face, shoulder and again following the incident, instructed Fox Information the assault was utterly random.

Ashley mentioned she noticed police drive previous them as she was getting up from the bottom after the assault.

A very good Samaritan named Lenora alongside along with her husband picked up the injured couple and took them to the hospital.
