The states becoming a member of the lawsuit had been Arizona, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Washington and West Virginia, the division mentioned.

The federal government, which filed the advert tech lawsuit in January together with eight states, had argued that Google needs to be compelled to promote its advert supervisor suite as a result of it illegally abused its dominance of internet advertising. 

Google has denied any wrongdoing and has requested Decide Leonie Brinkema within the Japanese District of Virginia to dismiss the lawsuit.
