Police Shoot Suspected Intruder at Ford Plant
DETROIT (AP) — A person is in essential situation after police shot him afer he tried to get right into a Ford plant in Wayne.
The Wayne Police Division responded round 7 p.m. Saturday to a report of a person with a gun making an attempt to realize entrance to the plant, the Detroit News reported. Officers encountered the person outdoors an worker entrance space. Police stated in a press release the person pointed a handgun at officers and one officer shot him.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Workplace says the person was hospitalized and is listed in essential situation. No officers had been injured.
Michigan State Police investigators are reviewing the incident.
