2 Officers Killed in Louisiana Police Helicopter Crash


BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Two Baton Rouge law enforcement officials died Sunday when their helicopter crashed right into a sugarcane discipline, Louisiana authorities mentioned.

The Robinson R-44 helicopter went out at 2 a.m. to assist with pursuit and by no means returned, native media reported. The plane’s disappearance wasn’t observed for a number of hours, when a search was launched. The wreckage was discovered earlier than 11 a.m.

The names of the officers haven’t been launched.
