Biden Declares Emergency for Mississippi As a result of Storm Injury


(Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden accepted an emergency declaration for Mississippi on Sunday after a strong storm tore throughout the state, killing at the least 25 individuals there and one in Alabama.

Biden ordered federal support to complement state, tribal and native restoration efforts within the affected areas, a White Home Assertion mentioned. The funding can be obtainable to affected individuals within the counties of Carroll, Humphreys, Monroe, and Sharkey, the assertion mentioned.
