Biden Backs Compromise Over Israeli Judicial Overhaul in Name With Netanyahu

(Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden, in a name with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday, backed efforts for comprise over a deliberate judicial overhaul, the White Home stated in a readout.

“The President… underscored… that democratic societies are strengthened by real checks and balances, and that elementary modifications needs to be pursued with the broadest potential base of common help.”

“The President provided help for efforts underway to forge a compromise on proposed judicial reforms according to these core rules.”
