Elderly couple stabbed to death inside NYC apartment : cops
An man and a woman were found stabbed to death inside a Queens garden apartment on Saturday, cops said.
Officers arrived at the grisly scene inside the Fresh Meadows flat at 194-15 64th Ave. around 8 p.m., after responding to a 911 call for an assault in progress, police said.

When they entered the apartment, officers found a 71-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman covered with stab wounds, cops said.

EMS rushed the man to New York-Presbyterian and the woman to North Shore University Hospital in critical condition, but the pair died soon after, according to authorities.
Police said that there are no arrests, and an investigation is still ongoing.
