Where Love on the Spectrum's Abbey Romeo, David Isaacman Stand After Breakup
David Isaacman might not be the lion to Abbey Romeo’s lioness anymore.
Instead, following their April breakup, their relationship could perhaps more closely be likened to that of Timon and Pumba, rather than Simba and Nala. Just take it from Abbey herself.
“David and I decided to call each other best friends, not boyfriend and girlfriend anymore,” she told Raven-Symoné and Miranda Maday on the May 21 episode of their Tea Time podcast. “And I have grown and changed a lot for the past four and a half years.”
She continued, “Without David, I wouldn’t be where I am today. He was a good start.”
As the 28-year-old forges ahead in this new chapter of her life, she’s also looking to channel the same mindset as a certain musical icon.
“Being single ladies, like Beyoncé said,” Abbey added. “It feels amazing.”
And while she navigates a breakup in the public eye—after all, she and David were among the fan-favorite couples to emerge from Love on the Spectrum—she’s holding some of her family’s favorite mantras close.
