Charlize Theron Reveals Her Kids’ Honest Reactions to Dating Life

Charlize Theron’s kids vet the bombshells trying to court her.

The 50-year-old—who is mom to daughters Jackson, 13, and August, 10—revealed that her kids are quite invested in her dating life.

“My kids are at an age now where they actually enjoy that I’m dating because they want to be involved,” Charlize explained on The Drew Barrymore Show on April 28. “It’s really funny how I was scared they’d be threatened by it, and now they’re like, ‘Mom, is he texting you? Like, go on the date, mom.’”

While her exes include the likes of Sean Penn, Stuart Townsend, and Third Eye Blind’s Stephan Jenkins, the Bombshell actress has been enjoying the single life lately, as she is “looking for something very specific” in committed relationships.

“I don’t think I could ever live with somebody again,” she told host Drew Barrymore, 51. “I would love for you to be close, like buy the house down the street, but I don’t know if I can.”
