Tyrone Taylor, who likely will be the Mets’ fourth outfielder, had a pair of singles, stole a base and made a nice grab to retire Will Wagner in the third inning.

Throw, yeah!

Catcher Kevin Parada, a first-round pick in 2022, made a snap throw to first base to pick off Kenedy Corona.

Caught my eye

It didn’t take long for top prospect Jett Williams to show off his speed, drawing a walk in the seventh inning and then swiping second base.

Monday’s schedule

Max Kranick will get the start at the CACTI Park of the Palm Beaches in West Palm Beach, where the Mets will play the Nationals.
