Inside the 2024 Golden Globes’ insanely expensive $500K gift bag

Winners at the 2024 Golden Globes will be scoring more than just a coveted statuette at the ceremony.
Victors and presenters will also be racking up the riches with an opulent swag bag that costs more than $500,000.
The Robb Report has curated a lavishly unique gift pack that is full of stunning items that are exclusive to the A-list.
The 81st Golden Globes will air on Jan. 7 on CBS and will be hosted by comedian Jo Koy.
The bag has over 35 extravagant products and experiences, including a two-night stay in Ireland, $545 worth of Caviar Russe, and even a session at a tattoo parlor.
Among the other plentiful bounties stars will secure on the one of the glitziest nights in Tinseltown, is an array of skincare products totaling $4,000 as well as a pair of emerald earrings worth $69,000. (According to 2020 data from the US Census Bureau, the annual income of $500,000 in US households was 2.9 percent.)
However, before the celebs get all excited, let’s clarify something.
Not every person will be receiving presents worth half a million each.
Winners and presenters will actually be presented with “The Ultimate Gift Book” – a comprehensive guide detailing the full list of items featured.
A total of 83 individuals will be granted with at least one of the special gifts offered.
This allows “recipients to select what offerings they would like to accept,” the Robb Report said in a press release.
The luxury goods publication will make a “generous contribution” to the Golden Globes Foundation, to support charities involving the arts, education, journalism and humanitarian projects.
The outlet will also be auctioning off a certain number of bags in an effort to raise funds for the Golden Globes organization.
“Robb Report is excited to partner with the Golden Globes to create a one-of-a-kind gifting experience celebrating and recognizing the winners and presenters of the 81st Golden Globes Awards,” Luke Bahrenburg, president of Robb Report and Head of Luxury Sales at Penske Media Company, said in a statement.
Helen Hoehne, who is the president of the Golden Globes organization, said she was ” immensely grateful” for the publication’s support of the foundation.
“This generous contribution not only embodies the spirit of giving but also marks a pivotal moment in our ongoing efforts to uplift underrepresented communities in the entertainment industry,” she stated. “Together, we are making an impact where it matters.”
The booklet is full of experiences and products, ranging from food, travel, beauty and fashion.
