Cassie settles against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs one day after she filed explosive lawsuit alleging rape, physical abuse

Sean “Diddy” Combs and R&B singer Cassie have settled a lawsuit she filed against the legendary music producer and rapper that accused him of raping and physically abusing her for over a decade.

The agreement was announced Friday – one day after the bombshell lawsuit was filed in Manhattan federal court.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control.  I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support,” Cassie wrote in a statement.

Combs added in his own statement: “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best.”
