Federal Judge Orders Utility to Turn Over Customer Information Amid Reports of Improper Water Use

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — A federal choose has ordered Mississippi’s largest electrical utility to show over data on prospects in and across the capital metropolis who is likely to be utilizing water with out paying for it.

In a Monday courtroom submitting, U.S. District Courtroom Decide Henry Wingate granted a movement by Ted Henifin — the federally appointed interim supervisor of Jackson’s water and sewer programs — that compels Entergy Mississippi to show over names, addresses and get in touch with data for patrons in over 30 zip codes within the space.
