SAG-AFTRA will approval fewer projects to continue during the strike

In an act of solidarity with the Writers Guild of America (WGA), the Display Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA) will now not grant permission to unbiased initiatives that fall underneath WGA contracts to proceed manufacturing through the ongoing strike. On July 14th SAG-AFTRA announced via a statement on its web site that going ahead, WGA-covered initiatives will now be excluded from its Interim Settlement coverage — which permits accredited unbiased productions with no direct connection to the actors union to proceed filming.
