Former NFL Player Alex Collins Dead at 28 – E! Online

The NFL has misplaced a treasured teammate. 

Former operating again Alex Collins—who beforehand performed for the Seattle Seahawks and Baltimore Ravens—died in a bike accident, the Seahawks shared Aug. 14. He was 28.

In a tribute, the group known as him a “beloved teammate and fan favourite throughout his two tenures with the group.” 

Collins was driving his 2004 Suzuki GSX-R600K bike in Lauderdale Lakes, a metropolis situated close to his hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Aug. 13 at round 10:20 p.m. when his automobile collided with a Chevrolet Suburban SUV, in line with a Broward County Sheriff’s Workplace report obtained by NFL.com. He was pronounced useless on the scene.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Alex Collins this morning,” Collins’ household stated in an announcement issued via the Seahawks following the deadly incident. “Alex was cherished by his household and associates in addition to supporters from all world wide. All who actually know him can attest to his drive, willpower, and larger-than-life persona.”
